Description:

This is a newly organised training programme with the following objectives:

  1. To introduce the curriculum framework of Technology and Living (Fashion, Clothing and Textiles) and fashion design and textile technology related programmes at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
  2. To introduce the production and design process of apparel from fibre to the final product through visiting fashion and textile related laboratories / centres.
  3. To introduce the application of STEAM in textile and apparel.
  4. Experience sharing: to introduce the wide range of career opportunities in the fashion and textile industry, as well as how to prepare students for career development and to enhance participants’ understanding of the industry’s needs.
