Objectives:
The workshops aim to support teachers in implementing STEAM / I&T-related learning and teaching activities in Science (S1-3) lessons, as well as to facilitate the promotion of STEAM / I&T education in secondary schools.
Through the workshops, participants’ knowledge and skills to effectively teach and assess the concepts of Four-Channel Spectrometer and Human Pulse Sensor could be enriched. Through hands-on activities and expert guidance, participants will learn about the working principles of Four-Channel Spectrometer and Human Pulse Sensor and gain practical experience in constructing and utilising the teaching kit.
Description:
The workshops include the following content:
- Introduction of the “Science (S1-3) STEAM Learning Module – Innovation and Technology”; and
- Constructing the learning kit: the Four-Channel Spectrometer and Human Pulse Sensor and the sharing of relevant pedagogies.
