Technovation Girls 2020 and #GirlsMakeTech Hong Kong

Description:
Objective:
Technovation Girls is a global technology entrepreneurship challenge for girls aged 10 to 18. It was originated in the United States and introduced to Hong Kong by the Young Makers & ChangeMakers (YMCM) in 2017. It aims to offer an opportunity for female students around the world to learn the knowledge and skills required for technology entrepreneurs and leaders through participating in this challenge.

To prepare students participating in this global challenge, YMCM and MakerBay will organise a local programme, namely #GirlsMakeTech Hong Kong: Technovation Girls 2020. Secondary students and teacher-mentors can access the free online technology entrepreneurship curriculum to learn from home and potentially also attend workshops, corporate visits and a bootcamp to be held at the University of Hong Kong and a pitch celebration to be held at Cyberport.
