This conference aims to

    • provide science education practitioners with insights into national and international trends in science education, enhancing their understanding on innovative practices on STEAM education and cognitive science;
    • enhance teachers’ competences in curriculum planning, implementation, and assessment through interactive sessions; and
    • foster professional dialogue and collaboration through discussions, knowledge sharing, and networking among science education practitioners.

      Speaker: Prof. Weiping HU, President of the Global Chinese Academy for Science Education Research, Representative of the 10th and 11th National People’s Congress
    • Topic: The theory and practice of STEM education
      Speaker: Prof. Winnie Wing Mui SO, an Executive Committee member of the World Education Research Association (WERA)
    • Topic: Educational research on deep learning and scientific thinking
      Speaker: Prof. Lei BAO, Professor at the College of Arts and Sciences/ Department of Physics, The Ohio State University; Director of the Center for Chinese and American Education Research (CUEE) at Ohio State University, and Editor-in-Chief of the REAL Education Research and Assessment Journal
