The Education Bureau (EDB) has been further strengthening the promotion of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) education, to develop science and innovation and technology (I&T) education, and to equip students with the competencies required in the 21st century, as well as to nurture I&Ttalents. Especially in promoting the understanding and application of I&T, as well as cultivating students’ positive values and attitudes, so as to enhance students’ creative thinking and entrepreneurial spirit, and to respond effectively to the opportunities presented by the technological advancement in Hong Kong and to complement the development of our country.
Objectives:
To enhance the understanding and capacity of school teachers on using emerging technologies and the learning and teaching of STEAM Education.
