COVID-19 has plagued us on a global scale. Media platforms have reported widely on epidemic information. People’s lives have been impacted greatly.

In order to encourage students to understand current events through reading news, understand social issues, understand the close relation between social development and people’s daily lives, Hong Kong News-Expo is hosting an Essay Writing Competition on “Reflections on a COVID-19 News Story” to allow students to write about a news story about the epidemic which has been most impactful to them, detailing out their reflection with an aim to nurture them to hold the right attitude while reading any news.
