CoolThink@JC inspires digital creativity by empowering all students to move beyond mere technology consumption and into innovative use of technologies for social good. Since 2016, the Programme trained more than 600 teachers from 131 primary schools and benefited over 70,000 primary students. Per a third-party evaluation, CoolThink Students have grown twice as much in their problem-solving skills as non-participating students. The programme is going to recruit the last cohort of network schools — Cohort 6. The recruited schools will implement the CoolThink@JC curriculum starting from 2023-24.
The Briefing Session aims to introduce the support provided by CoolThink@JC, including Computational Thinking, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Programmable Robotics curriculum for P4-P6 students, professional development for teachers, co-teaching supports from teaching assistants and subsidy for purchasing digital devices.
