The “Mainland, Hong Kong and Macau Young STEAM Maker Competition” is co-initiated by Lingnan University and the National Institute of Education Sciences, co-organised together with Hong Kong STEM Education Alliance and the New Territories School Heads Association, and supported by the Education Bureau. The competition aims to promote STEM education in the Mainland, Hong Kong and Macau, as well as to enhance the exchange and cooperation in STEM education among the three places. Schools interested in nominating students for the competition may apply at the above-mentioned website from 3 April 2018 (Tuesday) to 18 May 2018 (Friday).
To facilitate students to participate in the competition, two identical training courses are scheduled on 7 and 28 April 2018 (Saturdays). Schools interested in nominating students to attend the training courses are kindly requested to return the completed enrolment form at Appendix 5a (Chinese version only) to the Lingnan Institute of Further Education on or before 29 March 2018 (Thursday). Applications will be processed on a first-come-first-served basis. All successful applicants will receive an email confirmation on or before 3 April 2018 (Tuesday).
