“Safety Reunion” – Construction Industry Poster Design Competition
The Construction Industry Council (CIC) is committed to promoting safety awareness in the construction industry. The “Safety Reunion” – Construction Industry Poster Design Competition encourages participants to design posters around the concept of safety in the construction industry. It reminds practitioners to always prioritise safety, emphasising the importance of caring for themselves as well as others, and wishing them a safe return home to reunite with their families after work.
This competition is organised by the Construction Industry Council and supported by the Education Bureau. Winning entries will have the opportunity to be showcased on the event website and select entries may be displayed at construction sites. We encourage students to unleash their creativity and contribute to the enhancement of construction site safety!

Objectives:
The workshops aim to support teachers in implementing STEAM / I&T-related learning and teaching activities in Science (S1-3) lessons, as well as to facilitate the promotion of STEAM / I&T education in secondary schools.
Through the workshops, participants’ knowledge and skills to effectively teach and assess the concepts of Four-Channel Spectrometer and Human Pulse Sensor could be enriched. Through hands-on activities and expert guidance, participants will learn about the working principles of Four-Channel Spectrometer and Human Pulse Sensor and gain practical experience in constructing and utilising the teaching kit.
Description:
The workshops include the following content:
1. Introduction of the “Science (S1-3) STEAM Learning Module – Innovation and Technology”; and
2. Constructing the learning kit: the Four-Channel Spectrometer and Human Pulse Sensor and the sharing of relevant pedagogies.
