Competition 2024 (“The Competition”) aims to promote Computational Thinking
(“CT”) Education, enhance students’ awareness and interests on CT through
coding and problem solving skills, enable students to apply their knowledge and
skills on CT to solve problems, enhance creativity, innovation and coding
techniques as well as encourage collaboration.
The Competition includes Scratch and App Inventor categories, and
targets all Primary Four to Primary Six students in the academic year of 2023/2024
(The competition accepts entries from teams from all Hong Kong schools, each
team to be formed by three students. Each school may send at most five teams.)

competition is created and funded by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust,
co-created by The Education University of Hong Kong, Massachusetts Institute of
Technology and City University of Hong Kong, and co-organised by Association of
I.T. Leaders in Education and The Hong Kong Association for Computer Education,
and supported by Education Bureau and Hong Kong Education City.
After the course, the participants should be able to:
1. understand the basics of sustainable
technologies and their impact on different sectors; and
2. understand the basic concepts of Green
Farming and Renewable Energy and how to apply those concepts with learnable
elements in the school/classroom setting.
Club Campus, Hong Kong Metropolitan University
series of workshops is part of the teacher training activities under the Jockey
Club STEAM Education Resources Sharing Scheme of Hong Kong Metropolitan
University, and supported by the Education Bureau. It aims:
to facilitate teachers to adopt innovative teaching strategies of STEAM
to equip teachers with teaching skills required for STEAM education; and
to provide practical STEAM examples.
